I’m Tom Mortensen, owner of Thomas Home Watch.
My wife and I moved to Nashville in 1994 from Phoenix, Arizona.
I started taking care of properties in 1983.
I was working in the Phoenix area as a residential construction foreman for a general contractor and I met a business man from Nashville who had purchased several luxury condominiums from the contractor..
We became friends and he hired me to finish the condos and also to take care of the house he lived in when in Phoenix.
When we moved to Nashville I remodeled his daughters home west of Franklin as well as some other homes in the Nashville area.
I also worked as a repair technician for 20 years repairing medical, dental, EMS and veterinary equipment and took care of a few homes for friends and their friends as a side gig.
In 2021 I retired as a repair technician.
Since then I have been growing Thomas Home Watch and it feels great to work for myself.
I am a sole proprietor and handle all home inspections myself.
I get great satisfaction from fulfilling a client’s needs and I strive to be a thorough and thoughtful partner in the care of your home while you’re away.
